His work challenges the notion that leadership can be reduced to skills and strategy. Instead, it begins with presence and awareness. Participants are invited to engage their emotions, express themselves fully, and rediscover who they are before they lead others. From the Executive Office to the Human Experience

Ignacio Bonasa holds a Law Degree, an MBA from ICADE, and an Executive PDG from IESE Business School, as well as three doctoral titles:

  • Doctorate in Leadership and Organizational Transformation from the European International University (EIU).
  • Honorary Doctorate in Arts from Bharath Virtual University for Peace and Education.
  • Honorary Doctorate from Claustro Doctoral Honoris Causa of Mexico.

His career at BBVA placed him in key leadership roles across Portugal and Spain, where strategy, finance, and corporate performance were familiar territory. Yet despite these achievements, a persistent internal question remained: Was this truly enough?

That question did not fade. Instead, it led to a pivotal decision: to step away from conventional roles and build a space where people could explore leadership more deeply. He envisioned a place that prioritised reflection, empathy, and personal growth over titles or organisational hierarchy.

The 4A Model: Learning Through Art in Practice

At the centre of Ignacio’s methodology is the Learning Through Art® framework, structured around four pillars: Aprendizaje (Learning), Actitud (Attitude), Alma (Soul), and Acción (Action). This 4A model encourages a shift from intellectual learning to embodied understanding.

More than 20,000 executives and professionals have engaged in experiences such as playing in orchestras, acting in theatre productions, painting, or writing poetry. These artistic mediums serve as gateways for emotional insight and personal awareness. The goal is not performance, but connection.

Initiatives like Compases Creativos (jazz-based leadership) and Liderazgo Broadway (leadership through musical theatre) are carefully designed to be immersive and reflective. With each experience, participants move beyond technical leadership skills and begin to internalise a deeper, more personal way of leading.

Among the most transformative programs under Ignacio’s direction are Resetéate and Dale la vuelta a la tortilla (DVT). Both are structured to move beyond surface-level interventions and create space for honest emotional exploration.

Resetéate offers participants a dedicated environment to disconnect from external pressures and re-centre their focus. Using art, music, and group exercises, it encourages them to slow down, observe their internal state, and reconnect with their personal values.

Ignacio Bonasa is equally committed to future generations. His outreach includes mentorship programs, youth talent camps, and school collaborations aimed at normalising emotional literacy and creative expression in early education.
